Today marked the start of Good Citizen Month with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, and our Knoxville area team hit the ground running. We partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee for our first volunteer day — and the impact was immediate.
Together, our team labeled and packed 1,200 pounds of spaghetti and 1,050 pounds of cereal — helping provide the equivalent of 1,875 meals for families across East Tennessee. It was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together in service of our communities.
This April also marks the 11th annual Joy in Childhood Foundation volunteer initiative — a month dedicated to giving back. Dunkin’ franchisees, team members, and partners across the country are uniting to fight childhood hunger and support children in need.
With 1 in 5 kids facing food insecurity, efforts like these reflect why our commitment to service extends beyond the counter. We’re proud to live out our values — not just through the work we do in our restaurants, but through the time we invest in the places we call home.
